Studies of Inertia investigates the fundamental difficulties and paradoxes of the act of performing. We focus on the simple process of executing tasks, striving to overcome the tendency to remain unchanged. Studies of Inertia was created, in part, during residencies at Hooyong Performing Art Centre in South Korea, Raketenstation Hombroich in Germany and Dance New Amsterdam and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in New York.
